Centre, provinces trade blames over polio cases

18 polio cases including 11 in Sindh has been confirmed around the country so far. The federal health ministry has also directed the provincial health ministry to launch effective polio campaign in Sindh.

Holding local administration responsible, the ministry adopted a stance that provincial health ministry has completely failed to administrate anti polio drops to children in Sindh.

On the other hand, the provincial health ministry and local administration claimed that they have administrated anti-polio vaccine to children during the campaign but the vaccine is not effective, causing more polio cases in the province.
