Economic stability govt's top priority, says Gilani
By ZAMIR SHEIKH September 27, 2008 KARACHI - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that economic stability was the top priority of the present government and it was basic reason which compelled the his regime to take some unpopular decisions including withdrawal of subsidies.
“The law and order and economy were interlinked and the government was trying to restore writ of the state at all costs, he said.
