Bomber hits police van; 10 die
By Sohail Khan August 29, 2008 BANNU - At least 10 people including seven policemen were killed and 15 others injured when a suicide bomber hit his explosives-laden car with a police van on Kurram Bridge in the outskirts of Bannu on Thursday.
The police bus was carrying prisoners to District Courts from District Jail, police said.
Police authorities revealed that the actual target of the alleged bomber was the convoy of the security forces, which had passed a couple of minutes ago.
