Lashkar kills two more foreign militants in Upper Dir
Two foreign militants were killed and fourteen others arrested as the local Lashkar in Upper Dir continued their offensive in the Doog Darra area of the district. Lashkar sources say nine houses belonging to suspected militants and their supporters were destroyed as the Lashkar continues to hunt down militants in the Manzai, Ghazigai and Kandao areas of the district. The militants are now contained within an area one kilometer in radius, in the mountainous parts of the region, sources add. The Lashkar has been receiving support from security forces in their operation. Artillery, mortar and aerial support has been given in an effort to drive militants out of the area.
