ISLAMABAD (APP) - Most parts of the country particularly areas of Punjab and NWFP remained under the grip of severe heat wave on Sunday.
Maximum temperature of 49C was recorded at Turbat and Joharabad. Following stations experienced the hottest day of the present season:
Kohat 48C, Jhelum 47C, Mangla 47C, Bannu 47C, DI Khan 47C, Lahore 46C, Rawalpindi 46C, Sialkot 44C, MB Din 46C, Peshawar 46C, Muzaffarabad 46C, Islamabad 45C.
Isolated Dust-Thundershower has been predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujaranwala, Sargodha and Hazara divisions on today night (Monday) which may subside the prevailing severe heat wave conditions in these areas.
