Lahore-Sheikhupura Motorway closed due to fog

LAHORE, PESHAWAR (Online ) Motorway has been closed for traffic from Lahore to Sheikhupura due to severe fog while drivers travelling to Islamabad and Peshawar have been asked to keep their lights on.
The Motorway has been closed for traffic from Lahore to Sheikhupura due to fog in different cities of Punjab.
The meteorological department has forecast that the fog would remain for next two to three days. On the other side, drivers are facing problems due to severe fog at Motorway from Peshawar to Islamabad and Charsadda to Mardan. The Motorway police stopped traffic at different places while drivers were asked to remain attentive during driving. The fog has engulfed motorway from Peshawar to Charsadda, which is creating problems for travellers.
According to Motorway police Spokesman Muhammad Shoaib, the drivers have been asked to keep headlights of vehicles on and avoid overspeeding.
