PAF, Army ready to face all challenges

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, has said that PAF and Pakistan Army are working shoulder to shoulder for country’s defence.
He expressed these views during his visit to Air Headquarters on Monday. Chief of Army Staff called on Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Pakistan Air Force, and discussed professional matters with him.
Later, General Kayani was given a detailed briefing about the ongoing operations of the Pakistan Air Force to support law enforcement action in FATA and Swat areas.
During the meeting, both the high-ranking military leaders discussed matters related to the production of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, air operation against militants and others issues in depth. They made it clear that PAF and the Army were working shoulder to shoulder for country’s defence.
Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman, said that PAF was fully equipped to thwart any foreign conspiracy against the country. General Kayani lauded the efforts of Air Chief to make the defence of Pakistan impregnable.
