TheNation pre-budget seminar today
LAHORE - 'The Nation is organising its annual Pre-Budget Seminar 2009-10 titled Challenges to the Economy at Avari Hotel on Saturday (today).
The seminar is scheduled to start at 9:30 am and conclude at 1:30 pm.
Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Shaukat Tarin will be the chief guest.
The notables among the speakers of the Seminar are: Saqib Sherani, a senior banker; Dr Nadeemul Haq, Economist; Tariq Mehmood, Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association; Khawaja Iqbal Hassan, President/CEO NIB Bank; Humayun Akhtar Khan, former Federal Minister for Commerce; Atif Bajwa, President/CEO MCB; Tariq Sayeed Saigol, Chairman Maple Leaf Group; Jehangir Khan Tarin, former Federal Minister for Industries, Production and Special Initiatives and Dr Salman Shah, ex-Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance.
The seminar programme, which also includes a question-answer session, has been sponsored by the MCB.
