LANDIKOTAL - A defunct militants religious group, Amar-bil-Maroof-wa-Nahi-Anel-Munkr, killed four persons in Bar Kamberkhel, Bara, on Thursday for being allegedly involved in kidnapping, killings and other crimes.
When spokesman of the group was contacted for details, he confirmed the killings and said that the accused had been arrested two days ago. He said that during trial they were found guilty, as they had confessed their involvement in kidnappings and killings of various people. So, the spokesman added, Shura awarded them death sentence as per Sharia. The killed persons were Amir, Sadique, Marwat and Mehmood.
Meanwhile, a husband and his wife were killed while their two children sustained injuries when a shell hit a house in Akkakhel, Bara, at midnight between Thursday and Wednesday.
As per detains the ill-fated Rehmat Gul and other members of his family were sleeping inside their house when a shell, fired from an unknown place, hit the structure of the house. Resultantly the house collapsed and all the inmates got buried under the debris. The neighbours after efforts recovered Rehmat and his wife dead while their two children got injured.
