Entry fee at Adiala Jail abolished

RAWALPINDI (Online) – Fee to enter the premises of Adiala Jail has been abolished and visitors have also been asked to inform high officials in case fee is demanded by staff.
Superintendent Jail Saeed Ullah Gondal informed that the decision to abolish fee has been taken in the interest of visitors and it would also remove complaints regarding high fee by staff.
The visitors are being informed through loudspeakers regarding the abolishment of fees and directions have also been displayed.
The visitors have also been directed not to bring their mobile phones in the premises of the jail.
It is noted that Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani recently visited Adiala Jail and ordered jail authorities to provide maximum facilities to inmates.
