PM returns after 4-day official visit to UK, Germany

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday returned here after concluding his four-day official visit to Germany and the United Kingdom. The Prime Minister during his stay in London, held meeting with his British counterpart Gordon Brown and discussed wide-ranging issues including bilateral ties, counter-terrorism and cooperation in social sector. He also met British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and addressed Pakistani community residing in the UK. In Berlin, Gilani held talks with President Horst Kohler and Chancellor Angela Merkel and discussed ways to enhance ties between the two countries. In Frankfurt, the Prime Minister besides attending a conference on Bilateral Investment Treaty between Pakistan and Germany, also addressed the Pakistani community.
