Police fail to curb one-wheeling
October 4, 2008 ISLAMABAD (PPI)- All most all picnic spots and public parks in the twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad witnessed the traditional festive mess during Eid holidays, as those left behind tried to make the best of the occasion.
Pir Sohawa or Daman-e-Koh on the Margallas or Shakarparian, Rose and Jasmine Garden or Rawal Lake View Park, Marghazar Zoo, Chattar Park, Nawaz Sharif Park, Simly Dam, Liaquat Bagh Park, Fatima Jinnah Park, Ayub National Park, Nawaz Sharif Park, Women’s Park and Children Park of the twin cities saw huge number of visitors with their families to enjoy the Eid holy days.
On the fourth day of the Eid too, a large number of people had arrived from the surroundings to enjoy their holidays in the twin cities. Most of the people came with their families to share the happy moments.
As this time Eid holidays came at the weekend, people had ample time to exchange greetings with their relatives and friends and then spend some time with their families.
Bright and sunny weather also enticed people to come out of their homes and visit picnic spots. People crowded into Ayub Park, Playland and Nawaz Sharif park.
