PPLA demands special package for teachers
October 5, 2008 RAWALPINDI (APP) - President Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA) Rawalpindi Division M. Ilyas Qureshi and Secretary GeneralRauf Ahmad Shah have asked the government to announce special package for teachers on the occasion of World Teachers Day.
In a statement, they said previous governments announced special packages for the teachers of schools, colleges and universities but nothing was implemented and they were kept deprived of many facilities.
