Pak economy on verge of collapse: Defence Secretary
October 7, 2008 Secretary Defence Kamran Rasool has said that allied forces have been allowed to use Pakistan’s airspace. Defence Secretary Rasool said that allied forces took permission to hit specific targets in tribal areas several times. He said war on terror could not be won without US cooperation. Rasool cautioned that Pakistan’s economy was about to collapse, adding sanctions would aggravate the problems.
