Scattered rains likely in many areas
September 7, 2008 The meteorological office has forecast scattered rains in most parts of country including upper Punjab, Islamabad, upper NWFP, Northeastern Balochistan and Kashmir during the next 24-hour. The maximum expected temperature in Karachi is 32°C, Quetta 31°C, Peshawar 33°C, Lahore 33°C, Islamabad 30°C, Muzzafarabad 29°C, Gilgit 35°C while in Skardu temperature is likely to remain at 30°C with clouds. Forty-two degree centigrade was recorded as the highest temperature in Tibbet on Saturday.
