Nisar for strict approach about Dr Aafia
February 10, 2010
Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Wednesday slammed the government for its evasive attitude about Dr. Aafia Siddiqi’s release and called for taking more strict approach before the United States in this regard. Speaking to media outside the Parliament House, Nisar urged the government to pass a unanimous resolution in support of Dr. Aafia. He demanded that President and Prime Minister talk to US President Barack Obama on the issue. “Dr Siddiqi is the daughter of Pakistan and her release is the matter of country’s pride,” he said.
