Government urged to ensure writ of law

ISLAMABAD - Representatives of civil society here on Thursday urged the government to establish the rule of law in the country and adopt an effective policy to counter terrorists’ attacks on the lives of innocent citizens.

The representatives of Insani Haqooq Ittehad, SPO, Pattan, Sungi, SDPI, Aurat Foundation, PODA, Sache, Bedari, and WAF expressed these views here on Thursday to remind rulers that peace and security was the fundamental right of citizens.

They strongly condemned the terrorists who are attacking innocent citizens around the country and said that we feel the present deteriorated situation was the result of our wrong policies in the region.
