PM meets Nishtar's grand daughter
October 10, 2008 She formed an NGO thinktank named Heartfile, which today is the most powerful health policy voice in Pakistan and being recognised as a model for replicating in other developing countries. Dr. Asim Hussain, Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) also called on the Prime Minister and discussed with him matters relating to his organisation. The Prime Minister underscored the need to evaluate the working of the district governments so that the problems of the people could be addressed at their doorstep.
Abdullah H. Haroon, permanent representative of Pakistan in the UN also met the Prime Minister and apprised him of the on-going UN Assembly session. He also discussed with the Prime Minister the President’s recent visit to the US. Khalil Ahmad, ambassador-at-large also called on the Prime Minister and apprised him of the matters related to establishment division.
