Summary to induct new NIP batch awaits PM's nod

ISLAMABAD - The summary for the induction of new batch of National Internship Programme (NIP) has been sent to Prime Minister, who is likely to approve its draft shortly.

The DG NIP Ashiq Hussain Abassi, while talking to TheNation revealed that the  final draft of the summary has been forwarded to the PM who would hopefully sign it in the days to follow, added the DG.

However, he refused to give any specific time frame in this regard. “I can’t give the exact date as to when the summary is approved but hopefully, it is likely to be approved very soon, hinting that new batch may start in October.

Earlier, the NIP had announced that new internship batch is due in August. However, due to the pending summary, the batch could not be started in due course of time.
