Kashmiris observe Black Day on Indian Independence day
August 15, 2008 In occupied Kashmir, the Indian Independence Day is being observed as Black Day today. Strict security measures have been taken on this occasion in the valley. All Parties Hurriyet conference had given a complete strike call to observe black day today and announced to boycott all ceremonies in this regard. Curfew was imposed in the valley due to ongoing clashes between protestors and Indian troops.
