ITP moves to end traffic glitches

ISLAMABAD - The redundant parallel U-turns at various roads of Islamabad given by Capital Development Authority (CDA) are creating traffic problems and posing serious threats to the lives of the motorists.

The sources within Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) said the issue has been taken up with CDA of closing redundant U turns on several roads in the capital so that problems currently being faced by motorists are resolved.

The signal-free flow of traffic was ensured at intersections by the ITP recently by re-arranging U turns.
