Nusrat Fateh biography in French on 27th

ISLAMABAD - Alliance Frantaise d'Islamabad is all set to launch the first-ever biography in the French language of internationally renowned Pakistani Qawwal Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on May 27.
A foreigner writer Pierre Alain Baud presents the first-ever life story on Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan titled 'Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the messenger of Qawwali', published in the French-speaking world.
The book presentation ceremony will be held at Alliance Frantaise d'Islamabad that will consist of four presentations, depicting the life and work of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Three short films will also be premiered along with presentation.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan once commanded the Qawwali music scene with such a strong presence and authority that left many in a trance. Shortly before his death, this extraordinary man paved his way to many hearts all around the world.
Nusrat was coined the 'Qawwali Emperor'.
Researcher, Artistic Counsellor and journalist Pierre Alain Baud interested in spreading the artistic expressions of the 'Sufi East' into our world. He has written several books, CDs, booklets, researched articles, around the music's of Pakistan and Sufism.
