Talks on Muzaffarabad-Srinagar trade underway in New Delhi

The Joint Working Group, comprising senior officials from India and Pak is holding talks on the movement of goods from Line of Control as part of confidence building measures in New Delhi. Additional Secretary Ejaz Chaudhry is leading the Pakistani team in talks with its Indian counterpart. Two sides will focus on trade strategy through line of control (LoC), list of goods and exchange of trade delegations among Kashmiris. The Joint Working Group is part of peace talks that India and Pakistan began in 2003.
