7 policemen among 12 killed in Swat violence
August 23, 2008 At least 12 people including 7 police officials were killed and more than 20 wounded in suicide attacks at police check posts and bomb blast in Swat. According to sources, a suicide attacker hit a police check post in Charbagh area of Swat killing nine people including seven policemen and injuring 23. Spokesman of Tahreek Taliban Muslim Khan has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
