Investigations regarding loans sanctioned in 20 years underway: Malik
December 23, 2009
Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Wednesday said investigations regarding loans sanctioned during last 20 years are underway. Talking to journalists in Islamabad, Malik said all three intelligence agencies have been directed to probe if any organization operating using the name of Blackwater in Pakistan. Answering a question about Ajmal Kasab – the lone survivor of the terrorists involved in Mumbai terror attacks on Nov 26 last year – the interior minister said Kasab’s trial is being held in Indian courts. He urged India to respect Pakistani courts the way Pakistan respects Indian courts.
