PKPA to have own building after 11 years
By Fozia Azam October 25, 2008 RAWALPINDI- Pakistan Kidney Patients Association (PKPA), a non-profit organisation will formally lay the foundation stone of its free dialysis centre here in Rawalpindi.
The proper foundation laying ceremony is being held today (Sunday), however, the construction of the building is already in process and likely to be complete by the start of next year.
The organisation is going to have the building on Taali Mori Chowk, Rawalpindi as currently PKPA is operating in a rented building.
Currently this free dialysis centre is working in two shifts with 13 dialysis machines fully operated in the clinic and after completion of the building the organisation has planned to add three more dialysis machines to the existing unit.
