Draft National Drinking Water Policy opposed

The federal government is in the process in seeking recommendations for the NDWP.

Representatives, especially women from Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battgram, Haripur and Muzzaffarabad (Azad Kashmir) participated in large number and expressed their point of view.  District Nazim of Abbottabad Sardar Haider Zaman was the chief guest during the event.

Earlier, community and elected government representatives also formed People’s Water Alliance to pursue and pressurize government agencies to implement responsibilities regarding drinking water.
