Plans for foodstuff at reduced rates finalised

 ISLAMABAD - Arrangements regarding provision of essential commodities at the reduced rates during Ramazan were finalised at an meeting of District Price Control Committee chaired by Chief Commissioner Hamid Ali Khan here on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of all stakeholders, including wholesale dealers, traders, shopkeepers, flour millers, ghee dal mill owners, and officials of CDA weekly bazaars and Utility Stores Corporation, poultry and consumers association representatives, Deputy Commissioner Amer Ali Ahmed, magistrates and other officials of ICT administration.

The Chief Commissioner informed the meeting that the ICT administration has finalised arrangements regarding provision of food items at the reduced rates in sasta bazaars as well as at 35 fair price shops in the rural and city area with the co operation of wholesale dealers and mill owners.
