Senior official, family manhandled

Dr Saeed alleged that Obaid had carried out such condemnable act on the behest of Secretary Housing and Works. “The Secretary Housing and Works wants this house to be evacuated, so he is using extremely cheap tactics including threatening, abusing and harassment,” he noted while adding that Secretary had some personal interests involved pertaining to the evacuation of his official residence.

Dr Saeed apprehended if any untoward incident happened to his wife, Secretary Housing and Works and Joint Estate Officer Obaid would be held responsible. “If anything happened to my wife, I would sue them for murder charges,” he stated.

He further said that Obaid refused to listen to him and kept on misbehaving with him. His servant and driver, Rafeeq and Nawaz, showed several marks of torture and bruises to this scribe. The dispersed luggage and necessary belongings including chairs, tables, crockery, and school bags of children could be seen scattered down the road, outside the residence.
