Zardari directs quality electric infrastructure for camps

President Asif Zardari on Saturday directed the NWFP government to immediately develop standardized electric wiring in the camps for displaced persons in coordination with Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO). Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar said the President issued the directive after it was brought to his attention that the fans were not being utilized because a large number of camps lacked proper electric wiring. So far, electric cabling has not been allowed in the camps for fear of short circuiting.
