Strict action will be taken from Sep 1: SSP

According to details, two months ago the ITP had started an awareness campaign to provide safety to the road users and to control the road accidents, educating them for fastening of seat belt, avoiding from the use of mobile phone during driving and refrain from the use of high beam during night.  

The ITP has been issuing warning ticket during the current month to inculcate sense of responsibility among the road users regarding the above mentioned violations.

A report submitted to the SSP (Traffic) mentioned that during the current month 24,750 warning tickets were issued to the citizens for not fastening seat belts, using mobile phone while driving and using high beam during night.
