Strict action will be taken from Sep 1: SSP

While reviewing the report, the SSP said citizens should fasten seat belts and avoid use of mobile phone for the safety of their own and others lives. He added that the high beam during night is dangerous and caused road accidents; therefore, drivers should refrain from the use of high beam during night.

He reiterated that after September 1 no relaxation will be given to any body for not fastening seat belts and using mobile phone while driving and also the use of high beam during night.

He added that the aim of such steps is to make safer road environment and maintain traffic discipline in the Capital.
