PM for effective strategy to control hepatitis

ISLAMABAD- Government Thursday decided to control Hepatitis disease on war footing that was spreading with alarming pervasiveness all over the country.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani who presided over a special meeting in this connection at the PM House directed the Health Ministry to chalk out a comprehensive strategy for the prevention and control of the disease.
According to the official sources, the Prime Minister who has taken ownership of the program in order to ensure its timely and robust implementation said the preventive programme should also lay special focus on the rural areas.
