President for making Capital a model city

ISLAMABAD (Online) - President Asif Ali Zardari has issued directives to make Islamabad a green city and introduce water projects on the pattern of China by involving both public and private sectors in multiple development projects. He also approved construction of a hospital and a technical college for NA-50 Murree.

President Zardari issued these directives to Advisor Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF) Ghulam Murtaza Satti who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr here on Wednesday.

The President asserted that Islamabad should be developed on the pattern of Boston and New Delhi cities and directed the IPDF Advisor to ensure public and private sectors enhanced cooperation in launching development projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality so that the general masses could get maximum relief out of this initiative.
