8 including 4 policemen killed in suicide attack at DIG Mardan convoy
October 31, 2008 Eight people including four policemen were killed and several others injured when a suicide attacker targeted a convoy of DIG Mardan here on Friday. Nazim Mardan Hemayatullah told media that the vehicle of DIG Mardan Akhter Ali Shah was passing from outside the office when a suicide bomber blew up himself killing eight people including driver and two guards of DIG whereas DIG escaped unhurt in the attack. The injured were shifted to hospitals where many reported in a critical state.
