MQM, ANP blast bloody violence
By NISAR MEHDI November 30, 2008 KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Awami National Party (ANP) on Sunday vehemently condemned the ongoing bloody violence in the metropolis and termed it a conspiracy to stoke ethnic riots in Karachi.
Senior leaders from both parties appealed to the Governor Dr. Eshrat-ul-Ebad and CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take immediate action to control the violence and maintain law and order situation of the metropolis.
Talking to The Nation, ANP Provincial General Secretary Amin Khatak expressed that ANP, MQM and PPP leaderships were striving to foil the conspiracy to sabotage the peace of metropolis.
