Sindh seeks Centre's nod to set up constabulary
By FAHEEM RAZA November 30, 2008 KARACHI - Provincial Government has decided to establish active Constabulary to maintain law and order in the province, reliable sources told The Nation on Sunday.
According to the sources, Proposal has been sent to the federal government along with the proposed budget for the establishment of Constabulary.
Sources pointed out that Punjab and NWFP Constabularies were already working and these forces often join hands to maintain law and order.
