End to Kurram besiege demanded

By NISAR MEHDI September 2, 2008

KARACHI - Hundreds of enraged protestors on Monday warned the government that if it would not end the eight months long fighting and financial blockade of Kurram Agency (Parachanar) by the alleged Taliban, then they will give the Long March call to the people towards the Kurram Agency to eliminate the besiege of Kurram Agency with might.

They staged more then four hours sit-in protest at Numaish Chowrangi (MA Jinnah Road) in front of Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum against the ongoing sectarian violence at Kurram Agency (Parachanar), DI Khan and other parts of the country.
