Kidney patients asked to take plenty of water
By SYED JAFAR ASKARI September 2, 2008 KARACHI - Experts on Monday warned citizens to take plenty of water in Ramazan, between Iftar to Sahar (dawn), to avoid the chances of kidney-related problems as the period of fasting would be lengthy this time as compare to last few years.
The street foods including fried Samosa, Pakora, chicken rolls, prepared with low quality used edible oil, may cause health problems. Use of oily and spicy foods should be avoided to be fit and healthy, while use of fruits, pulses, vegetables, milk and other healthy foods are strongly suggested in the month.
