Mirza rules out operation against Taliban in Sindh

Karachi  - Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza said on Saturday that neither Taliban are existing in Sindh nor any decision was taken to conduct operation against them.

Talking to newsmen at a local hotel, the minister said there is no truth in the reports about existence of Taliban or Talibanization in Sindh province, adding the Sindh Cabinet had never decided to carry out operation against them.

Refuting reports of expected operation against Taliban in Sindh, Mr Mirza said the Sindh Cabinet had even not discussed Taliban issue. Cases will not be registered against Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Jam Madad Ali and other opposition members, he said.
