Swiss national day celebrated
Source: APP August 3, 2008 KARACHI - The National Day of Swiss Confederation was marked on Friday evening.
To mark the event, the Consul general of Switzerland in Karachi, Martin Bienz, hosted a reception at a local hotel.
It was attended by the prominent people from various walks of life and the members of the diplomatic corps.
In a statement on the occasion, Martin Bienz said that Switzerland and Pakistan enjoy very friendly bilateral relations.
He pointed out that the economic ties between the two countries have reached a remarkable level and are further expanding.
