Rabbani, Marri call on French Ambassador

KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Information Shazia Marri Wednesday held a meeting with French Ambassador, Regis De Belenet, at the residence of Ambassador-at-Large Zia Isphani.

PPP leaders Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, Nafees Siddiqui, the host Zia Isphani and French Consul General at Karachi Pierre Seillan were also present in the meeting.

Shazia Marri and Senator Mian Raza Rabbani briefed the Ambassador of France about the policies and actions of the present government regarding sustainable peace and social sector development. The French Ambassador appreciated the present elected government’s policies and said that stability and peace in Pakistan is not only necessary for the people of this country but also is in the larger interest of the entire world. He assured of all possible help to Pakistan government from France. On this occasion, both sides discussed bilateral and mutual interest issues.
