Probe into killings of political workers sought

KARACHI - The Multi-Parties Conference (MPC) hosted by Sunni Tehreek have adopted resolutions demanding the government to set up independent judicial commission over the killing of religious and political parties workers in the City and should pay the compensation to the victims’ families.

PML-N, Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Sindh National Front (SNF), PDF, PPI and other political parties leaders participated in the conference.

They also demanded the government to provide jobs to the heirs of political and religious parties’ victims who lost their lives in different incidents. ST also demanded in the resolution from the government to end ‘No-go’ areas in the City, without any discrimination and allow all the religious and political parties to continue their political activities with freedom.
