Nazim announces separate Citizen Boards for parks

KARACHI - Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal, has announced the formation of “Park Citizen Board” to run the affairs of the city’s parks with citizens’ participation in their management.

He asked traders, industrialists, social workers and citizens to offer their voluntary services so that Boards could be set up for parks separately. He made this announcement during a detailed visit to Bagh Ibne-Qasim on Saturday night. DCO Karachi Javed Hanif, EDO Investment and Promotion Dr. Shahab Imam, EDO Works and Services Amanullah Chachar, Executive Director Parks Liaquat Ali Khan and other concerned officials were present on the occasion.
