ATC judge to move SC against termination
By SHAFI BALOCH October 3, 2008 Meanwhile, Arif Ahmed Khan, the Sindh home secretary, has rejected his claims saying that when the home department issued the written order regarding his transfer, he refused to leave Karachi. “There is an ATC building situated in Badin, but he did not want to shift there.”
He said Baloch had been deployed in Karachi since several years and he wanted to continue living in Karachi, while when the said department issued his termination orders, he refused to go to Badin. Khan said that there were four ATCs in Karachi, later the department had decided to constitute more ATCs in other parts of the province. The home secretary also refused that Baloch might face any security threats in Badin. He said that several other judges of session and district courts were also serving there, but none of them had ever shown any concerns regarding their security.
“I will face the court if Baloch will file any reference.”
