Prisoners escape from jail; five re-arrested
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER October 3, 2008 KARACHI - Six criminals, arrested under different charges, tried to escape from police lock-up at Saudabad Police Station (PS) on the Eid day. Police, however, after encounter, arrested five of them while another managed to escape from the scene.
Mirza Shahid Baig, Shaheen, Qasim, Sharif, Shahid Hussain and Majid Ali were arrested during different raids. They were on police remand for further investigation.
