Water supply to Pai Forest to be ensured

KARACHI (APP) - Sindh Secretary Irrigation and Power Department, Shuja Ahmed Junejo, has assured his full cooperation to WWF-Pakistan for their efforts with regard to conservation of natural resources.

Terming it a noble cause, he was appreciative of the initiatives the organisation has been taking throughout the country in general and in the Indus delta region in particular. Junejo said separate outlet exists for the Pai Forest and added that the Department would ensure that Pai Forest gets its share of approved water.

He was speaking to a delegation of WWF-Pakistan’s Indus for All Programme who met him in his office.
