13 police officials suspended

KARACHI - Inspector General of Police (Jail) Yamin Khan on Satruday, suspended 13 police officials including Jail superintendent, on the charges of negligence and incompetence as two young prisoners managed to flee on different occasion, The Nation has learnt.

Sources said that one of the prisoner Mohammad Asif Sattar son of Mohammad Ali fled from the jail through nullah on Friday.

While another Jail inmate Jamil Ahmed alias Katti, managed to flee in the cover of amnesty announced by presidential order on the Eid occasion. Sources also told that order of release issued for another person who was also Jamil Ahmed and he was booked under minor cases.
