Aafiya's detention: Court seeks ministries comments till Jan 15

The Additional Advocate General Sindh Sarwar Khan appeared before the court on the behalf of the respondents. He has also presented the list issued by provincial home ministry in which the name of the petitioner Syed Amin Raza was not in the said list as he claimed in the petition.
Writ petition over illegal detention
Syed Amin Raza son of Syed Ale Raza filed the petition through Advocate Maqbool-ur-Rehman against his restriction of movement under the black law, he submitted that neither he had committed any crime nor he was involved in any anti social activity.
The petitioner resident of Clitton quarter Clitton road New Town, submitted that he had been working as junior clerk in PWD department and did not involve in any anti social activity. He also said that he had been kept in forth scheduled of Anti Terrorist Act 1997 under section 11E. He has been regularly attending the concerned police station where he was directed to appear since the last four or five years. He was blamed to be an ardent activist of Shia sect and Spah-E-Mohammad, whereas he does not belong to any Shia sect, rather he belong to the Sunny sect.
He respondents to Sindh Home Secretary, Inspector General Sindh police, DIG Karachi, SP Jamsheed Town, SPO Jamsheed Town and SHO Jamsheed Town Police station in the petition, in which he had preferred any appeal, as described under section (3) to section 11EE of the ATA 1997.
