President, Nazim slammed for statements against PPP
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER July 6, 2008 KARACHI - Pakistan Peoples Party has strongly reacted over the statement of Karachi City Nazim Mustafa Kamal against the top leaderships of PPP and PML (N). In an emergent press conference on Saturday, Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri strongly condemned the statement of Mustafa Kamal against PPP’s government and termed it as ‘highly irresponsible attitude’ and ‘unacceptable’ for the PPP.
She urged the leadership of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) to take notice of these statements by City Nazim.
“Pakistan People’s Party was never formed by the ISI,” Shazia Marri said, adding, “Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto turned Pakistan into an atomic power and we the workers and leaders are proud to be a part of his party”.
She criticised the mayor for ‘attempting to damage’ the on-going reconciliation policy for political stability.
